While Earnie kicks ass with his folk n bluegrass, his son Robin takes a wobbly start with writing new plays. After realizing he did not want to be an actor, he took the connections he had in theatre school and did some DIY productions and readings in the 2000s. Even in high school, he had the Cactus ethos...Â

Writes and directs An Evening's Ordeal, a comedy about two cowboys who make their way to England to steal a wealthy lord's diamond. Definitely plagiarized from zany farces, Simpsons, and Oscar Wilde. Featuring Kerry Hishon, with whom he will collaborate frequently.Â
Attends George Brown for acting and realizes he's not an actor, and wasn't happy with his experience. But grateful for connections to student talent, and uses the spaces to host mini play readings of jettisoned early shows like Tommy and His Exploding Brain, Undiscovered/Recovered, and a very early version of Helen of Roy.
